[WIP] Execution Office

Hey Everyone,

So while it's still a bit early, I figured it would be neat to share a little preview of the upcoming animation I am working on. It is based off of one of my favorite art pieces by Fireball666 and he was kind enough to give me permission to use his artwork in my upcoming derivative work. I spent the last couple of days building a 1:1 3D environment based off of the original as well as remodeling some characters with a standard school uniform to fit the scene.

Plot/Brainstorming:

I'm still thinking through and brainstorming what kind of story I should tell since there are a decent amount of characters in this scene with more possibly added as background characters.

Currently, my idea is to choose one of the girls to be the "main heroine" who will essentially narrate their experience being sent to the Execution Office. Below is a breakdown of the 4 scenes that I currently have planned out.

MCx = Main Character (number)

Scenes:

Scene 1 Reception Room: MC1 enters the Execution Office and checks in with the (Teacher 2) currently handling reception. (Teacher 2) will take attendance and confirm the punishment being issued (x amount of cane strokes) to the student. In the background you hear a punishment currently ongoing behind the curtain. MC1 will narrate (inside head voice) some dialogue of how this isn't her fault and that she was framed which should help set the tone and subplot of the main story.

Scene 2 Waiting Area: After the current batch of students leave the punishment room, the next wave of students will enter and prepare themselves. One at a time they would be called up by the student holding the clipboard (MC2) who is in charge of confirming the student's name, the infraction they committed, and the amount of cane strokes they are supposed to receive. Since I want MC2 to get punished at the end, I am toying with the idea that she framed MC1 and will get in trouble for it later on.

Scene 3 Punishment: This is where MC1 gets called up and prepares themself for their upcoming punishment. The punishment is carried out by (Teacher 1) and either midway through or at the end of the punishment, (Teacher 2,) who was at the reception desk, comes over to whisper to (Teacher 1) and tells her that MC1 is actually innocent and that MC2 was the real culprit. (Let's assume a random student found evidence proving MC1's innocence.) Cue the shocked expression of MC2 when she is told to prepare herself for her punishment.

Scene 4 Ending: MC1 gets dressed and spectates the ongoing punishment for a bit. When she leaves towards the end, you can hear MC2 apologizing/crying in the distance. MC1 exits the room with a smile on her face, the door closes to end the animation.

Notes:

Keep in mind that this is subject to change and is just the current plot I have been brainstorming. With that said, I'm still in the early stage of this animation so I'm very interested in hearing your feedback or suggestions if you have any!

Also, I have not yet finalized who MC1 will be yet. MC2 will be the girl with the clipboard, so that is already settled. That said I'd love to hear which girl you think should be the main character so feel free to let me know!
