As I recall the most recent discussion of rainbows on pod before this podcast was in 087 in a tangent/example about how the exciting thing about eclipses isn't the darkness, just like the exciting thing about rainbows isn't the rain.

2024-09-29 11:30:51 +0000 UTCIn the version of Battleship that my father taught me, you fire off a volley of three shots at a time, and you're told the results in order of ship size. This way there's some interesting logic to it, and three misses is actually a very useful result. Imagine my disappointment at learning that the 'canonical' version just does single shots.
