Mysteria Lane Update

After a lot of groundwork to establish the setting, I'm now finishing up touches on a very abbreviated alpha for patrons to test. It will contain the basic mechanics of gameplay but will be limited to the wife NPC. It is strange that you can get so involved in production that when you actual visualise 'playing' a game, you still learn new things about it. One thing I've learned is that the game builds on mind control trophes but with a caveat that makes it more playable-- you can only transform through a gradual process for it to work-- so you have to have a strategy of design for your attention or you won't have a great outcome. What kind of NPC do you want? There will be different paths to take. Also, you'll only ever have so many attempts and time to spread over the target NPCs. And luck will play a small role too.
All that said, the big take-away for me is that the game will really be about making a series of decisions that end with different types and transformations for NPCs. Want a nice trophy wife? You can go that route. Want a sex slave? Go this way. Or try both. And don't forget to leave time and energy for the other two ladies in your life...
