Improving the game experience
Added 2015-12-03 23:21:50 +0000 UTCThis may seem like a small thing, but I've just made my first order on Fiverr for a voice over artist to record some audio for Mysteria Lane, the game currently in development. This commission is for the voice of the Wife NPC and I'm hoping it will add another dimension to the game experience. If this experiment works out, I'll script and commission two more audio lots for the Step-daughter and the Rival. The audio won't be a complete narration of the text on screen but instead will consist of one liners that enhance what's on the screen. I've never taken this approach but if it works the way I hope it will, it will represent another step towards upping the production values.
I'm getting MLane ready for a first beta. I have some production work to do, as early testing suggested we needed to expand game from 12 to 16 weeks. However, all the major character transformations have been completed and everything seems to work. As always, if you're interested in the latest, go check out the forum!
