So, Reproductive Health was 105 pages and ran ~3 months back in January. My technique and my style has evolved a lot since then. And I wanted to ... better tell a story that started as a dumb twitter prompt.
The relationship between Abby and Loni wasn't really well established. It was just a sexual action movie (in comic form).
Abby's home life was never mentioned. (Or really anything beyond her giant D.)
Loni's home life, and the issues she has between her school, her friends, her family, and the world she lives in were only really dug up in later chapters and felt like they weren't properly explored.
For pacing and speed and page production, if it wasn't directly leading to the next sex scene it was cut. The art was... uh... not great? I mean it passed, but it was not a great look. Incredibly inconsistent, but stablizing by the end (amazing what drawing a character a 105 times will do.)
Anyways, this will be a slow burn project and I'll do some work on it between the Xived Wars, the CYOAs, and whatever nonsense I get up to on twitter.
You guys see all the draft pages first! (And the colour pages as they get done).
Sept 24th Update,
Up to 10 pages here now.
So, Loni's very much a love'er and leave'er. I felt that the first run through the story didn't focus on Loni's changes until it was well and truly developed, and Abby needed a mirror, and when Brandon enters the picture, he was just kinda fully formed. So I made Estelle to balance out the love triangle. Loni loves Abby, Abby loves Brandon, Estelle loves Loni, and Brandon loves Estelle. No one is with someone who wants to be with them. Everyone is so very horny because of it.
December 17th Update
Up to 14 pages. I'm trying not to kill myself with full colour work. Maybe if we hit $200 a month in patreon support, I can devote that time to these comics, but I'm liking the look.
