Hey all,
Thank you for the kind and thoughtful comments in the last post. I'd have a hard time explaining how much I appreciate it, but please know I do. It's a comfort to be in the company of so many people who understand, and likewise have animal companions occupying large tracts of real estate in their hearts.

The way back was better, actually, since I was going through the not-closed-off half of the tunnel and wasn't freaking out about costume touch-ups that I didn't notice until I reached a rest stop (but which no one noticed anyway). Great to see you all the same!

I was suffering a bad case of con-brain at that point, apparently. Was excellent to see you again (and in full Rocky regalia, no less), however brief. I hope the drive back home wasn't too taxing.
