Fur Painting - Process Video with Notes

An annotated process video seemed like a good idea the outset, but I think it fails to communicate as thoroughly as it ought to. Along with simply being difficult to read amidst the fidgets of high-speed Photoshop UI action, short captions can't really convey enough about what's going on. I realize now that a narrated instructional video in real time probably would have been a better approach.
I beg pardon. Video tutorials (as opposed to static image tutorials) is new territory for me.
Anyway, sharing this because I've been promising it..and because maybe it has some redeeming value in there somewhere. I'll strive do better next time. If it leaves anyone with process questions, feel free to ask and I'll try to clarify.

Beautiful and inspirational to watch; thank you for sharing this! Were you using an references to help with color choices and fur texture when working on this or was this all purely from your mind/experience?
