Added 2022-12-16 18:06:08 +0000 UTCSpent a huge amount of time this week getting a "minigame" working where the player serves up food from the foodcart for some quick cash.
At the end of it, you get ~30 if you're good, but only 10 if you make mistakes. It reflects how the customer service and food industry is an absolute trash fire and you will only do it once, for money, and never again if you can at all help it.
The goal is to have a few different minigames the player can do each day, to bring them close to being able to pay off their rent. But if you spend all day working, you won't have the stamina to attend to the needs of all these people... Hmm. Priorities.
