Tinsel Town v1.3.1 Production Hell for Execs+

File Size: 2.62 gbs

For v1.3.1:

Spencer Crane positioning fixed

Simone Baird debate ‘softlocked’ issue fixed

Desk Darling credits now issued for Cardini, Estelle, Phipps meetings

Managing Kim events properly tagged and ordered in appropriate event categories

ALSO: there is an alternate track for Cassidy Voss that some were having problems accessing; I’ve playtested and this does work.  One of the triggers for it is to increase Kim’s compliance so if you want to unlock this alternate path 1.) do NOT begin contracting work on the prestige movie and 2.) buy Desk Darling outfits for Kim.  Eventually you’ll get a meeting with Rina Bruno and if you succeed in pushing her for clarity, the Red Carpet Ruin path will open (but you can’t do both the legit movie AND the Red Carpet Ruin option).

ALSO: The Mac Version is ready—see links below!

For v1.3.0:

First, a couple of legacy issues that were reported:

Extra Large monitor issue that prevented game from being playable has been addressed!

Mac issue reported cannot be reproduced— any Mac players are requested to report issues please!

Ok, so the rest of the new stuff…

Studio Management- Once you have established yourself as a mini mogul, you’ll gradually earn the attention of TTown players looking to hitch up with a winner. You’ll have inbound resumes to consider for key positions, which once filled, allow you to ramp up the scope and capabilities of your studio. You’ll be running multiple new productions through your enlarged studio. As your clout opens doors and opportunities to put better deals together, you can begin to produce small and increasingly significant projects which over time will produce more revenue and prestige. Scripts and talent will appear in both the expected and unexpected places and politics begins to intrude on the story arc as you sense strings being pulled from the shadowy edges!

The Player will have lots more activities to level up stats, as well as gather industry intel and increase power and prestige. There’s plenty to fill your increasingly valuable time, both at work and on the weekends.  Tinsel Town has filled out, with new locations and NPCs to interact with.

The appearance of a familiar face, along with requests she transmits, will begin to link Tinsel Town to Company Man. You’re being watched and depending on the choices you make, you’ll gain glimpses to hidden agendas, as well as access to taboo technologies. You’ll begin to have to juggle your day job with side missions, if you want access to more!

You’ll have lots to do in terms of managing your new relationship with Kim Mitchell. You’ll have your hands full as it becomes apparent that while on the surface she’s perfectly professional, she has a deep distrust and dislike for you that only make you more determined to transform her into an executive accessory.

Finally, players will enjoy an even more immersive universe, by virtue of extensive application of AI. The ability to custom create visuals means I’ve been able to produce much more expressive imagery for Kim in particular. She now presents a range of emotions, depending on her situation, as well as contextual poses, props and environments. Your movie productions now include real sets and costuming as well. Carefully applied AI has led to more fluid scenes, dialogue and game concepts. It hasn’t replaced my vision but it certainly has turbo charged it, allowing me to produce faster as well as develop more in-depth scenarios. Bravo AI! (on a side note, I am trying to install Stable Diffusion to do more NSFW type content; any assistance would be greatly appreciated in this process!).

I've playtested the hell out of the game, cleaned up hundreds of typos and (fingers crossed) it all seems to work.  You should be able to drop your saved game in and start right off from where you left things in the last release.  Once you get a hold of the game, please report any issues/feedback/thoughts here so I can address as quickly as I can!

I really feel the game starting to gain traction.  I have a massive list of loose plot threads that need to be dealt with, as well as the introduction of telescoping projects, both center stage and on the side, that will start to converge as the opportunity to collaborate with the Unmet Friend accelerates.  The fun stuff is just beginning, which is hopefully what you'll feel after diving into Production Hell!

I bought the Ferrari at the auto shop. It's supposed to give +5 prestige. It did not. However, the Porche did give the +2 prestige it was supposed to give.
