Weekly Update

Hello my beautiful people
I hope you are doing well.
I'm fine... The throat is still acting up, but I think I figured out what it is wrong.

See, I live in a basement apartment. And it tends to be cold, and a bit damp. Usually, the heater ( or the a AC in the summer ) will take care of the dampness. But for a few weeks now I didn't have to use the heaters since winter is over, I just dressed a bit warmer and I like to sleep in a cold room anyway.

Anyways... Earlier this week I realized how damp it was in here, so I plugged in my dehumidifier ( it's an old, really loud, machine I rarely use ) and the next day my troat felt a hell of a lot better. So I guess that was it. Cold and damp air... I basically got a cold from inside my home I guess.

I'll keep things as is for a few more days and see how things go from there.

As for work.

I finally released the Cartoon Car Wash over the week end. ^^

I'm pretty pleased with that one. Composition wise, it's a bit of a mess, and I still think the comiccon piece was better on that part, but the perspective it more consistent, every character is fully rendered and I think it's doubled in pure size of the crowd.

Thank you all so much for sticking with me throughout this massive project. I had a blast, and I would never be able to make something like that without your supports. Seriously, I would never be able to put the time it needed every week, if I had to work on a day job or something like that. So, yeah, this is your achievement as well as mine ^^

I'll release it to the rest of the world later this week, but for now, it is uniquely yours.

A few of you told to be that the files in the member folders are corrupted... They are not. You need to actually download the files. It's just that the files are too massive for Media Fire's viewer... I'm actually surprised that Patreon took it so well. I was fully expecting to have to post a lower resolution on their site as I had to do on Subscrbstar.

This week...

For the first time in MONTHS, I honestly have no idea what it will be.

I don't have a list of commission waiting. I'm not working on a collab with Tracy and I don't have any half finished massive project in the work.

Let me enjoy that a little :P

I'll work on a few pics of course.
I'll probably re-open shop soon, but I'll finish this month enjoying a more relax attitude.

See you all soon!

Yeah. I love "Goldorak", the heavily edited french translation of the Grendizer classic series. I'm trying to watch the whole series, but I lack the time. I am somewhere in the second season right now. I'd love to give the reboot that came out a year or so ago a try. I was planning to have the 2 main girls of the series somewhere in there, but I forgot to add them :P sorry about the crash... I'll need to find a better solution next time.

Yeah, after such a massive project you definitely deserve to relax a bit. The sheer scope of the finished picture, with the truly astounding amount of characters, is honestly insane when laid out in its entirety. Zoom in at any spot at random and suddenly you'll find a character or two who you somehow managed to miss, like for example; as something of a Go Nagai fan I can't tell you just how much of a surprise it was to see Danbei of all people peek out of one of the jacuzzis. Also, as a fun aside, when I first went to check it out on my tablet it managed to crash the tab before Patreon even had chance to load the thumbnail due to simply being so big.

Very good advice... I'll do that. That said, my landlord is selling the place and there was a VERY thorough inspection 3 weeks ago, so I'm pretty sure I'm safe.

If it's damp, beware of mold! Air the place out, and go mold hunting with a face mask and some strong bleach. Remember to check the ceiling. And roll for initiative. Slime girls are not your friend! :-)
