Added 2025-05-09 16:34:51 +0000 UTCI'm still in a cartoon mood... and Mme Agecanonix ( Mrs Geriatrix for the english speakers) is simply one of the most beautiful characters ever put on paper. (Read Obelix and Co. if you don't beleive me... this is when I fell in love as a kid ). No one other than Uderzo ever managed to do her justice... I tryed.

I did.. and I was really pleased with what I saw... especially since I really don't like his live action Asterix... but to be fair, I don't like any live action Asterix. The best one, in my mind (the first one) is barely watchable :P

As a kid I used to own a few of the comics, but I have to be fair and admit that it's always been the animated movies which I personally hold dearest to my heart—with 1985's Asterix vs Caesar being my absolute favorite (which here in Sweden was retitled as "Asterix - Hero of the Gauls"). Even as a wee lad—before I had any idea what those feelings meant—I had a certain, hm, let's call it "fascination" for Mme, so seeing your take on her is a welcome sight. Although, maybe because she's featured in my favorite Asterix movie, I've always had a preference for Panacea. ;)
