NEW CHARACTER TIIIIME!
This is a pretty slow intro. You can't even know how slow until you see what my plans for them are. C:
Fun facts:
- I started working on Alinga and Alkina about two years ago.
- Initially they weren't supposed to have fur, but I didn't yet know I'll have all those wonderful people supporting me on Patreon (YOU LOVELY BEANS) so that I could get this super awesome new workstation that can handle fur.
- The fur alone took me over a week to make, and it's even slower to render than skin (which was so far one of the slowest things EVER).
- It makes me super duper happy to be able to finally make furry characters.
- There are about 4,400,000 (yes, that's 4,4 million) hairs in this piece. It took around 10gb of RAM at rendertime. A bit scary to think about putting them in a more complex scene (some scenes require even like 16gb of RAM to render).
- You can expect more floof characters in the future.
Also I'm posting this in full size for everyone, because CHARACTER INTRO LET'S CELEBRATION ENJOY ALL THE DETAILS LOOK AT THEM OMG THAT FUR I STILL CAN'T GET OVER IT SO HAPPY

And yeah, the way I intro'd Uzuri was one of my favorite ways, and here I figured doing a dramatic intro for a dramatic change was suitable! Glad you like! Also the $400 goal has gone with the wind. XD But it doesn't matter; someone quit, and I also suspect I might have a couple of fake accounts and/or bots anyway, just gotta wait for them to get charged, AND THEN I SHALL BRING OUT THE BANHAMMER Or hopefully not!

2017-01-25 04:46:06 +0000 UTCI can comprehend the slow pace. I've been wanting to see this image for a long time. And I'm quite excited to see it finished. It's very very beautiful. It's an interesting way to introduce them as well. I could assume that people outside of your fandom would probably identify this as just a mirrored image and not see 2 characters initially. But Sun and Moon does equal two. My only problem i'll have at first is remembering the names. I like the dusty particle effect you used. It works well with the reflective mirror-like nature of the image. I believe when you introduced Uzuri you did something simular to this as well. (The harsh shadows and blinding nature of light.) Good Job. I'm happy to have been a cog in your mechanical machine. P.s. I got a message at 10am this morning saying you reached your $400 goal! I hope it stays!
