New Book Update! (The Eternal Assassin)

Hello everyone! I mentioned this in an update the other day, but I am finally dropping chapters of my newest story on Royal Road! The story is called The Eternal Assassin, and if you couldn't guess from the title alone, it is going to be a tad different in tone compared to Explorer of Edregon (mainly in the form of a main character who has something of a love for fighting other people, and that this story actually has some focus on romance).

I decided to just keep things simple and add the same level of chapters to the tiers moving forward. So for example, alongside the 20 advanced chapter for Explorer of Edregon that the Trunkback tier gives access to, it now also gives access to 20 advanced chapters of The Eternal Assassin! Obviously I hope at least a few of you enjoy the new story, but I won't be offended if you decide to ignore those posts and just keep reading about Vin and his adventures haha.

However, if anyone does start reading The Eternal Assassin and finds that they enjoy it, I would certainly appreciate it if you would stop by Royal Road and follow/favorite/rate/review the story! Even if you have access to far more chapters here, all those metrics are super important for any story and would be a massive help!

Because I'm about to post 29 chapters here in a single day for the new story, I went ahead and toggled off all of the notifications (other than for chapter 1) so that you guys wouldn't be bombarded haha. Summoned to another world by an ancient lich, Asher is surprised to find there is one type of dead body his training as a mortician’s apprentice didn’t prepare him for. Not exactly a fan of being held captive by the dead any more than he enjoyed being held past closing time for them, Asher decides to use his newfound dimensional abilities to see himself out.

Only after stealing the culmination of a few centuries worth of illegal magical experimentation of course.

In a world where resurrection magic means death is more of a suggestion for the upper class than the rule, Asher eventually discovers his stolen power is capable of ensuring anything that dies by his hand, stays dead.

For some reason, a lot of very powerful people find this rather upsetting.

An ancient cabal of forgotten liches. The elite organization of noble truthseekers. Even the kingdom’s famous assassin’s guild. It seems just about anyone who deals in death wants to claim his mysterious power for themselves, and most of them will stop at nothing to achieve their goals. 

Not unless Asher can get to them first.
