I respect the constructive criticism. The chain of events could've been done a bit better in retrospect. I'll have to see how everything turns out after this arc. I was very much trying to avoid a pick em up ticket story where he just ease beans his way through multiple different conflicts. But well I could only live and learn

I've just joined to catch up with the additional chapters and it feels very recently you asked what threats the MC should be looking at solving across all of Bet after dealing with the most pressing issues in Brockton. But now the very first threat he moves on results in instant full mobilization of top-tier threats on a comparable level to the literal Scion fight. While I do understand that Cauldron is apparently hedging their bets by feeding him conflict to either remove him from the board or hone him into solving Scion; unless this story is planning to ditch Bet very quickly and/or just end, this kinda feels like we're already prepping for final fights given the scale of our current opponents. Like after Fairie Queen and a Titan there's only really the Endbringers and then Scion with maybe the Triumvirate with as much cheating as PtV can give them as comparable or greater threats I feel? Did everyone just vote for the bad option on targets and the 9 were the endgame foe and we just skipped from the first boss to the last without hitting any in between? Overall though what's here is fun, it definitely does give me a "death stars to balance the lightsabers" feel, but I think that's kinda what you're going for? Or at least what you're writing the ROB as going for I suppose? Also, how much effect did the Chaos Flame have on his Servant summon? Otherwise the cheerful psychopath seems a stretch? Like, violence as a means to a goal seems definitely up our protagonists alley, but the indiscriminate torture for funsies doesn't read as matching as well. Or is this another ROB finger tipping the scales?

2026-02-23 20:54:56 +0000 UTCYou know that to the readers ROB are just the hand of the author puppeteering things, good writing should render that same hand nearly invisible or the story stops being immersive. You can try and make the ROB seem like a completely separate character but as it stands he's just a stand in for the author when shit needs to be railroaded. I'm disappointed and moving on from both of your stories as they seem to lack any long term prospects as this style of storytelling burns the plot from both ends, I expect you'll start importing death stars at some future point once you think the MC has too many lightsabers.

I'm enjoying the ride and let me explain something to you all if cauldron thought he was a big enough threat yanking the fairy queen and throwing all of this at him is perfectly Justified I mean you have to look at the larger background picture of what cauldron has done!

2026-02-21 05:19:44 +0000 UTCOk so somewhat enjoying the story so far but while I get the whole point is push him and to escalate, in the matter of a couple chapters you have made him the mortal enemy of the end bringers put him in conflict with cauldron and gave eidolon a hate boner for him. Made the fairy queen a mortal enemy where shes now unleashing birdcage villains against him. Involved the high preiest and queen administratior so Taylor is going to be an enemy with her shard pushing for it And if that wasn't enough you triggered a flippen titan. He's been in world for what less then a week at this point? Whats next unleashing the machine army or unleash a zomie outbreak from bonesaw? This story is quickly seeming more like a way for you to vent on all the annoying commentators and fans of your stories
