Thanks. But I highly doubt they'll have an open mind. Whenever I bring up LGBT+ stuff they either change the subject or say something insulting. And when I put on a show with two guys kissing the other day they made puke noises, called them demonic, called me weird for watching it and then told me to turn it off or I wouldn't be allowed to watch TV all week. So yeah, their opinions on it are very clear unfortunately. I don't know if I'll ever tell them. I used to be homophobic and transphobic like them as a kid because that's what I was taught. But it was TV that made me realize that being LGBT+ isn't a bad thing. Shows like Glee and Doctor Who really opened my eyes to that and helped me to figure out my sexuality, you haven't seen much inclusion on Doctor Who yet but you will. And so I'm proof that inclusive TV shows can change someone's whole world and I'm sure Heartstopper will have helped some people out there. I hope so anyway. 🤞 Sorry I know you don't care about my life story lol, I just wanted to get that out you know.

2023-06-04 08:02:29 +0000 UTCI was going to do a rewatch of Heartstopper before season 2 anyway but then I thought "hey, I haven't watched it with Travis yet" lol. So I watched all 8 episodes with you today. It really is a fantastic show. I wish it was around when I was in my early teens. I'm bisexual like Nick and there was no bi rep at all back then, at least no positive and well done bi rep. Even now there's not much tbh. But Nick is brilliant bi rep and I see so much of my journey as a teen in his story. Unfortunately unlike Nick, I'm not out to my parents. I'm 27 and still hiding. I know they'd hate me if they knew and I'm not strong enough to deal with the possibility of losing them. But I hope one day I'll be as strong as Nick was in this season finale. I'll look forward to watching season 2 in August and I hope you'll do reactions for it. 💕
