I do remember re-watching my favorite songs/performances from the show on YouTube every now and then, though

The writers did get a lot of their inspiration from the cast and how they were off set. As Naya Rivera said in her book, they “had the sex drive of bunnies and the bed hopping skills of a polygamist cult.” Chris Colfer said that getting slushied felt like getting punched in the face by an iceberg. They used real slushies at first but then changed it so was a more jellied mixture that was softer and not freezing. Still not a great experience, though.
