I love Supernatural but think if it ended here it would have been a perfect end to the show.

2023-09-05 18:25:46 +0000 UTCSeasons 1 to 5 were written a single storyline, where everything gets to this final episode, which was supposed to be the finale of the series. Then the show was renewed, so they added more seasons and more storylines, and even though most of them are really good, there will never the same level of continuity that you see in the first five seasons, since they were written together as one, while the others are more of a "season by season" thing

2023-09-05 03:42:11 +0000 UTCI agree with this but also disagree. This would have been a great ending, but imo there is so much good yet to come. I also like the real ending as well. But for sure when this aired I felt all the feels of it being the last one

2023-09-05 03:07:13 +0000 UTCI stand by that had the show ended here for good, it would have been considered one of The best TV shows of all time. Everything felt finished, it felt like an ending without loose ends (not counting here the things they added after they got renewed) - and don't get me wrong, there are awesome things ahead in later seasons, but I do wonder.
