On the way, Gordie Lachance (Wil Wheaton), Vern Tessio (Jerry O'Connell), Chris Chambers (River Phoenix) and Teddy Duchamp (Corey Feldman) encounter a mean junk man and a marsh full of leeches, as they also learn more about one another and their very different home lives. Just a lark at first, the boys' adventure evolves into a defining event in their lives.

2024-06-22 22:00:42 +0000 UTCI had never watched this movie. I always intended to see it at some point, but just never somehow did. I'm glad that I was able to see it as a reaction with you. What great movie. It's always so bittersweet to see something with River Phoenix in it. Loved this though.

My Own Private Idaho is a great movie, it’s not for everyone, the story jumps around like a dream and is definitely bittersweet, tears will be shed. But River is just amazing in it. Oh The Outsiders is a classic, often underrated, full of huge names, really gripping story. Highly recommend

2022-08-17 18:42:00 +0000 UTCRiver Phoenix was such a good actor in his time. Barf-O-Rama had me laughing so hard, very silly but he was right. You don't have friends like you do when you are twelve. We went on adventures on our bikes and didn't worry about anything. There was a park right next to our neighborhood and they found a girl stabbed to death. it was a boy who lived in the neighborhood who did it. things changed then. bought up all kinds of memories. Thanks Travis for the reaction.
