2022-10-19 01:23:15 +0000 UTCI liked Santana&Mercedes and Tina&Mike best in the competition. Santana was a bitch in this episode and I loved it! I just wish there was any resolution to her situation wth Brittany like her apologizng to her or going with her to Breadstix.

2022-09-08 16:59:33 +0000 UTCThe leg kick at the end of Kurt & Rachels duet was an homage to the original which was Barbra Striesand & Judy Garland on The Judy Garland Show. :) Even the outfits are very similiar on purpose. I'd love to see you react to it!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFVxX3RtyhQ

2022-09-08 02:16:44 +0000 UTCHarry Shum Jr, who plays Mike, is an amazing professional dancer and trying to figure out how he moves like that is one of life's great mysteries. He was in the Step Up movies and they referred to his character (named Cable) as the man without bones. How he is able to move defies the laws of science. Eric Stoltz, who directed this episode, said that he was in awe of both Harry and Naya, because he made them do their songs over and over and they brought 100% to every take...true professionals. Both numbers were more focused on their dances whereas Mercedes and Tina were more focused on the singing.

2022-09-07 22:03:46 +0000 UTC(After River Deep Mountain High) "First of all they sounded amazing...Santana is hot...HOT" - Never have agreed with you more Travis! I love that you noticed Sam's fish mouth...remember that because it will give you a huge laugh later on this season. I'd like to put in an early bid for you to watch the Glee Concert movie at the end of this season. How can I make that happen?

2022-09-07 21:57:14 +0000 UTCโHe looks like a fish.โ Iโm cracking up because you have NO idea how accurate that statement is. Just you wait!!

2022-09-07 21:56:07 +0000 UTCThe song itself isn't offensive but the purposeful outfit choice paired with them purposefully misinterpreting the song make the performance offensive. With Finn dressed up as a "Priest" and Rachel dressed up as a "school girl" singing a love song they basically glorify a "Priest" and "school girl" relationship which is why the Glee Club members and Mr Schue call them out for it.

2022-09-07 21:27:49 +0000 UTCI mean I get what born again means, but I just don't understand how it was offensive, lol.

2022-09-07 21:04:41 +0000 UTCThe original song "With You I'm Born Again" is considered a love song. "Born Again" is often associated with religion even though that isn't what the song is about. The original writer of the song thought she actually should of named the song "Come Give Me Your Softness" (which is a lyric in the song people thought the song was titled but also because it having "Born Again" in the title confused some people of what the song was really about). In Glee it was kind of played up "Born Again" being associated with religion so Finn dressed as a Priest and Rachel dressed as a school girl. So you have a "Priest" and "school girl" singing a love song to one another.

2022-09-07 20:59:56 +0000 UTCCan someone please tell me why Rachel and Finn's second song was offensive? I've never heard that song in my life, lol.

2022-09-07 20:20:07 +0000 UTCYeah, Sam's a fun, quirky character with a very nice voice (and, yeah, he and Quinn have very complimentary voices). I wish I knew how Mike Chang moves like that. I love that duet because they really played into the fact that Mike's not a "singer" instead of trying to convince everyone that he has a powerhouse voice; they also had him sing-talking a lot, which can help those who aren't very comfortable singing. And, I agree with you Travis, Mercedes and Santana definitely should have won! Not sure why Mr. Schue thought it was a good idea to have the students vote. Should have had a guest judge instead

2022-09-07 17:01:13 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite episodes from Glee. Every song in this episode are good/great (minus Rachel and Finn's 2nd duet lol). The "River Deep, Mountain High" cover is one of my all time favorite covers done on Glee and still think had the competition been fair Santana and Mercedes should've won the competition.
