i’m glad you like Buck… he’s my favorite but tbh i don’t find any of the characters unlikeable. i just started this series semi recently myself.

2023-02-07 03:25:39 +0000 UTCAnother thing about season 1 is that it was made 2 years before lone star. I think in season one of 9-1-1 they were still trying to figure things out. Season one is formatted a little differently than season 2+ and Lone Star.

2022-09-06 23:06:17 +0000 UTCi forget how dark and heavy this season can be. i think it starts to feel more like ls later but s1 definitely has a different vibe. i enjoy it though, it’s very character focused. buck is definitely my fav but i love them all…well almost. the 118 is so special.

And as funny or dramatized as some of the 9-1-1verse emergencies can be, I think I like that both 9-1-1 and Lone Star both acknowledge and involve real world things, like cancer, addiction, mental illnesses, and more; it’s not just a perfect world without any problems that the characters live in, they each have their own lives and personal life problems away from their jobs. I love 90% of the characters in the show, but Buck (and somebody else from season 2 🤐) are definitely my favorites. I relate to Buck because of something personally, but I love the rest of the 118 family too.
