2022-09-14 19:58:46 +0000 UTCMy guess is that she can tell that Damon is in love with Elena, and therefore putting Damon in charge of keeping her safe might be good for Elena, but it's not good *romantically!* Whether or not Katherine thinks Damon will do the right thing, letting Stefan think he won't is in her best interests, for sure! Also, your love for Jeremy just makes me love him more, omg! Finally, I just want to take Matt away and let him live a long safe boring life because he is the most normal of everyone in that show and he needs to stay that way, damnit!
