To be fair she was a huge name back in her Ghost Whisperer days

2023-09-19 19:26:05 +0000 UTCAs a survivor of domestic violence, who had to fight for my life and flee leaving my kids behind, this was a very very hard episode to watch for me. I couldn't watch it when I was just watching the show on my own. The only way I was able to watch the episodes about this subject was when you put out the reaction content...and that's the only way I can rewatch them as well, so thank you it has been healing for me. ❤️ It means more than you can possibly know.

2023-03-21 02:39:20 +0000 UTCThis episode is so good!!!! But seriously, fucking Doug! I was so glad Maddie killed his ass! So much more satisfying this way than if Buck had killed him (although, that would've been good too). J. Love Hewitt should be a way bigger name. She is an amazing actress! And I will forever maintain that Athena would make a great detective! And I love Christopher!

2023-03-21 02:38:45 +0000 UTCSuch an amazing episode! How crazy is it that the actor that played Doug is actually Jennifer Love Hewitt’s real life husband too! 😳😳

2022-11-19 03:26:44 +0000 UTCThis is an episode I still get chills watching. Jennifer Love Hewitt's acting was phenomenal in this episode. I basically had the same reaction as you when I first saw this episode. I wanted Maddie to keep attacking Doug until he was dead. Maddie and Buck reuniting near the end of the episode and Maddie telling Buck "I didn't give up" is a scene that makes me cry everytime I see it.

2022-11-18 20:58:23 +0000 UTCWaking up after surgery is honestly exhausting, I’m glad that this show is realistic when it comes to things like that. Rewatching this episode once again makes me realize that not everyone has had multiple surgeries 😂😬) I love Chris giving hospital advice to Chim

2022-11-18 20:57:17 +0000 UTCI love this episode. Bobby Nash and Athena Grant are Bucks parents ™️, and Maddie is amazing. Every time I watch this episode all I can think of is a story that Oliver Stark said about running in snow (and I never want to do it). JLH’s amazing acting also reminds me of something that Jensen Ackles said once. When you’re acting and you have to get emotional, whether it’s panic or sadness or anger, your body won’t know the difference between real and just acting like it. He said that he’s had to spend a while after shooting a super emotional scene just to calm down enough (I’m not sure what show he was talking about). The fact that JLH had to be afraid of her husband, and then attack him and then just go back to normal after is just wild to think about.

2022-11-18 20:53:58 +0000 UTCThe actor who plays Doug is JLH real life husband. She said doing those abusive scenes were easier to do because she trusted him. They could push things further and more emotional because of that.
