I was so hoping they'd do Valentine right by his book description when this originally aired, though. He was handsome, strong/well built, dressed in very nice suits and had long white hair if I remember correctly. He was also rather formal and eloquent. And far more of an obsessed sociopath than depicted in this series.

2024-06-08 01:16:12 +0000 UTCI'm late to the party but fun fact, before this episode aired there was this theory going around based on the promo and sneek peaks released that Magnus showing up was a dream sequence or something and people were worried they would mess this episode up. I have never in my life seen any fandom freaking out and being this excited about an episode (and completely losing it when malec got together) as the shadowhunters fandom was in 2016. Honestly one of my favorite memories, everyone was so genuinely happy!

Mgnus has cat eyes if I remember correctly that he can hide or show depending (not everyone is so lucky). Yeah you missed that apparently Mgnus and Camille were a thing a while ago. He gave her the ruby necklace that Isabelle now wears. I love how puppy dog excited you got about Magnus. I mean it's absolutely the correct way to be. It's how we all feel about Magnus. It's my favourite ship.
