2022-12-14 07:02:06 +0000 UTCThis episode always makes me cry damnit π as mentioned above the mom has been in a lot of stuff, but for me I think she looks so familiar because she looks very much like charisma carpenter (Cordelia in buffy) they have so many similar facial features it's crazy seeing a side by side comparison. The last stretch of season 1 is really really good so I'm so excited, especially for the last 2 eps they're probably my favorites of the season. Also, Grams is iconic lol

Regarding the mom looking familiar the actress' name is Finola Hughes she played Laura in the movie Staying Alive but even more notably she has played Anna Devane on the soap opera General Hospital on and off since the 1980s (A role she also played in the early 2000s on the soap opera All My Children). Even if you've never watched General Hospital there are certain actors from the show I'm sure would look familiar (even if you don't know their names) because of how popular the show was so the more popular characters were always making guest appearances in shows/movies. Finola is one of the more well known actors from General Hospital.
