I love Giles' relationship with Buffy so much. He is always there for her when she needs it. Especially in later seasons.

Like you said, it's got a little of everything... -- great humor throughout -- sweetness (that Oz speech to Willow about "Willow kissage" and how he can wait, awwwww, and the look on her face as he says it was SO adorable) -- surprises (Willow finding out about Xander and Cordelia, and Buffy and Giles finding out about Jenny Calendar, yikes) -- creativity (well done with the "no weapon forged" bazooka idea, Xander) -- sadistic twists (Angel becoming Angelus - HOLY CRAP! - and showing why he's the worst, most vicious vampire of all)... I really believe he would have killed Willow and/or Xander in that school hallway, and that he loves not just to kill but also to sadistically torment, like how the cruel, insulting things he said to Buffy in his bedroom cut right to the heart, ow ow ow! -- hilarious taunting (Angelus and Spike are SO entertaining) -- insanity (Druscilla is completely crackers, lol) -- epic explosions (bye bye Scary Smurf) -- even more epic fist fights (that fight between Angel and Buffy outside the mall, so intense) -- and some beautiful moments too, my favorite being Buffy and Giles in his car when he tells her, "If it's guilt you're looking for, Buffy, I'm not your man..." Oh my heart, that was so kind and respectful and compassionate, I loved it so much. It's just a freaking good episode. ❤️ A fan favorite, FOR SURE.
