I've always felt Derek was a bit snotty about it. Like, I understand he wasn't expecting to feel so bad when she started dating again, but he was a bit judgey. And given that he never told her he was married, I'd say he has NO right to judge. Plus, he made his choice, so he gets no say in Meredith's personal life anymore.
