The Vampire Diaries | 4x8 'We'll Always Have Bourbon Street'

I grew up right outside of New Orleans until Katrina, I was 13. I've gone back yearly since to visit family and I went to bourbon street on my 22nd birthday..I don't remember the whole night but I remember i had fun lol. And I hate how everyone, especially Caroline, acts about the sire bond 🙄 they act like he assaulted Elena and that's just not the case. Tyler actually the one who did that to Vicky which is why I'll never like Tyler and I think it's crazy how the characters and the fans forgave him for that

It's the same thing with Klaus though... it's clear Caroline developed feelings for Klaus even though he killed Elena's aunt and terrorized the rest of them, I'm not defending Damon or Elena but it works both ways both Klaus and Damon did horrible things yet Elena and Caroline liked them despite it.

While I can understand Caroline not wanting to be close with Damon given their interaction in Season 1, it's none of her business if Elena wants him. She needed to keep her nose out of everyone else's relationships. It's not like she has a stellar track record herself.

Everyone hating on Caroline this episode when she has valid reasons to hate Damon, like people seem to forget what happened during season one which guess what he hasn’t even apologized for or do her friends even acknowledge happened.

Agree with everyone that says that Caroline was so annoying. I really disliked that she was friends with both Elena and Stefan at this moment. In real life that would have been such a terrible position to be in, like, who is she even loyal to? Ugh, the suggestive way that she asked Stefan, “Is that all he told you?” When Elena clearly asked her not to tell Stefan because she wanted to be the one to tell him. I just feel that she could not be a good friend to either of them in this situation. Well, enough haha can’t wait to continue watching! You’re almost halfway through and, no spoilers but after the mid season, the show gets so so so interesting! Can’t wait.
