I know that SPN isn't dark to most people. I totally get that what I said seems crazy to all of you. But I watched the first season and it gave me panic attacks a few times. I'm a wimp and I struggle with anything violent or bloody or murdery. I wish I could watch it because people keep going on and on about how great it is, although I see a lot of people who had issues with the ending, but most shows are like that lol. It's just not the show for me, Doctor Who level is my sci-fi limit.

It really isn’t that dark. Remember SPN started in 2005 and network so they had limits. Also you’ll get so involved with the boys&their trials that they really are the story! Plus-especially as it moves on-there is so much humor. Dean is hilarious and even the “bad guys” (don’t want future season spoilers) are funny.

I'm so glad you love the show this much Shona but it isn't my cup of tea unfortunately. I watched the whole first season, just about, but it's too dark for me. Doctor Who is right on my darkness limit and even some episodes of that are too dark for me, so Supernatural is a no go. I know it's weird but that's the fault of my anxiety disorder. Anything too dark gives me panic attacks. I'm sorry about that.

It really is not that dark. I watched the 1st episode when it came out 2005 and no way this is way to much for me. Gave it another go in 2020 and I am now obsessed. That much so that I am going to my 1st convention in 30 days. I get to hug the amazing human that is Jensen Ackles. There is so much humour, drama, some darker bits and emotion. You will laugh, cry, jump and roll yours eyes at the absurdity of some of it. It is one of the best shows ever.

I don't watch Supernatural, I feel like I miss out on all the fun and hype, especially because there are SO many fans of it on this page, but it's just too dark for me lol.
