Like you said, "You grow as you go" and they have definitely grown into their own as a band and become amazing artists both musically and lyrically. They were so young at the time of this album that I think that given that it was their first album, they were in their teens, and how long ago it was released, it's a great debut album for a very young band. Not something I would personally listen to today, but it's so fun to hear where they came from. Also, they have stated so many times how they don't like several songs off of this album, including Heartbreak Girl and Don't Stop (acoustic), which has been a running joke with fans who always request that they play Heartbreak Girl at concerts. LOL Can't wait for more 5SOS reactions! Since you've reacted to all of their albums now, I would love it if you reacted to the 5 Seconds of Summer Show - A 10 Year Celebration https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUV-HmHHbVo. I think you'll like it, it has great performances and is hilarious. 😊

2023-02-16 12:20:39 +0000 UTCGreat reaction Travis!! 5SOS were definitely very young for this album release -& for the writing for this album, so there are a couple of songs (Mrs All American & 18 in particular) that, in my opinion, should never have made the album! 😂 But I absolutely adore Long Way Home, Amnesia & Everything I Didn't Say...That wonderful middle 'chunk' you also seemed to really like! I would love to see your reaction to the 10 year celebration show & The Feeling of Falling Upwards - One Night Only Show. Plus any live performances/live concerts...that is where they truly shine!! 😊❤️

I’m crossing my fingers that you’ll react to their 10 Year Celebration Show now that you’ve reacted too all their main albums apart from b-sides and rarities. I think you’d really like it!

2023-02-15 20:57:12 +0000 UTCI'm only on mrs all american but i have to pause because i have second hand embarrassment jsdfvhjdf so i have to agree with the other comment that the b-sides and rarities EP is a must listen for this album, and Especially because of English love affair which as someone who lives in europe is the song i have instead of mrs all american and that one's a fan favourite as far as the first two albums at least. anyways loving this reaction i'm going back to it haha

They have a b-sides and rarities EP for this album which includes a song called English Love Affair, which is the track in replace of Mrs All American on the European release of the album as well as a few other songs I love more than some that made the album
