One thing Stephen Moffat is good with is scaring the crap out of you, then turning on the feels at the end. The sweet scene with Nancy and Jamie, everyone lives, and saving Jack while having a little dance party. Such a feel good ending. One thing that's great about this show is every story has a different tone to it. This was a horror story, but you'll get comedy gold, period drama, true sci-fi, dystopian world, detective, romance, etc. I think that's why the show appeals to so many people.

2023-03-16 01:02:15 +0000 UTCSuch a fantastic episode, one of my favourites. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Both the actor and writers describe Captain Jack as omnisexual. Which basically means he'll date anyone of any gender from any consenting species. Jack is just a big flirt and you see that more going forward. 😂 And you were right at the end when you said you didn't think it was the actor for The Doctor doing the dancing. He tried but he couldn't do it so they got a double in for that scene lol. But I'm glad they included the scene anyway because it's really sweet. The Doctor and Rose are the cutest together and I love that they had a really flirty moment in the hospital, I wonder what would've happened if Jack hadn't teleported them. 🤣 I can't wait for the next one. Another really good episode. Well all the rest of the episodes this season are great. 😊
