Thacther's tears meant NOTHING to me after that slap. Even though I feel that Meredith shouldn't have been on that case, She completely communicated everything to him. Answered all their questions without hesitation. I'm pretty sure he could understand by the pretty basic terminology Mer was using that his wife was getting worse on her own.

Or even be on her sorta step-mom's case as a doctor at all?? They've made it a whole thing how you can't be a doctor if it's a family member on the table. Let alone having to tell your estranged father that his current wife died under his ex-wife's daughter's service. Mmmm too messy. SO unprofessional and unlikely for Bailey or Webber to make HER give HIM the death notice. Clearly I am still not over it..
