with shows like this in the early 2000's its really common. we see the same thing with greys and supernatural.

2023-08-09 10:39:44 +0000 UTCI'm starting to wonder where this was filmed. I'm seeing a lot of actors that appear in Supernatural like the unsub in this episode.

2023-05-30 05:26:19 +0000 UTCYou get to get a glimpse for the first time in this episode of the show faking you out on who the unsub really is and keeping you on your toes until the true unsub is revealed which honestly is great! I get why you would think what Hotch was doing was really what he was thinking and feeling towards Reid, it was just a way to distract the unsub and get him to trust him. It was believable to that extent but I think that just makes Hotch amazing at his job. Yes, Hotch can be intimidating, hard, and stoic as shown in this episode but thatโs not all to him, there are more sides to Aaron Hotchner and I canโt wait for you to experience them! The moment at the ambulance between Hotch and Reid was just so wholesome and sweet, it makes me smile every time I see it! Seeing Hotch be soft and apologize to Reid about what he had to do and then Reid joking with him makes them share a smile. Itโs precious and thatโs why I love them!

2023-04-18 06:30:11 +0000 UTCI am going to be that person and I hope it's taken the right way, if not, I understand if you (or anyone) wants to roll their eyes and ignore. If you aren't already, I suggest being internally conscientious when watching this show. There are (as with any show of course) a lot of dramatizations to the psychological aspects. Particularly in how and when profiling is done and used irl, describing mental health disorders, and detailing the background and psychology of criminal behaviors. Still love the show to death, but dismantling harmful stigmas and not readily buying into damaging misinformation is a societal good!

2023-04-09 21:46:26 +0000 UTClmao that last part....i'll never forget when we had a profiler come talk to us in high school for career day or something and all us girls were so swoony and moon-eyed thinking he'd look like morgan or reid or even hotch. imagine our surprise when he was a very average, "dad" looking man in his late 40s lmao

2023-04-09 19:14:20 +0000 UTCI've never seen this series before because my old TO when I was a rookie use to tell me it bugged him a little cause alot of the episodes were super predictable. This one was definitely one of those episodes. Haha I'm thoroughly surprised travis didn't guess the ending. They made it blatantly obvious from the get go that the dude carried 2 guns on him. As soon as he mentioned that the kid didn't carry a gun I knew exactly what was gonna happen. It just got painstakingly obvious as the scene progressed that the kid was gonna take the gun from his leg somehow and shoot the nurse. I think my hypervigilance is on overdrive. They use to make us take courses on the effects of hypervigilance and recommended them to our families to understand that when we get put in dangerous situations all your senses are heightened to figure out how to get out of a situation with out overreacting. It's why police officers have been shooting civilians more often when they don't need too because they are in extreme emotional states and it's almost a panic reaction to get out alive. This series is definitely interesting when it comes down to the profiling though. I've met a few detectives who remind me so much of a couple of these guys... just not as good looking. Haha
