Like Ilsuk, I tear up just hearing the opening music and remembering where it takes us; worthy of every accolade it received, imo. And Travis has so many similar experiences to come. Thank you, Stormy, for giving him this one.

2023-04-28 06:20:24 +0000 UTCThis movie is just so good, I love how they put Forrest with all these monumental historical moments. Jenny is definitely meant to reflect a lot of people at that time. Everyone is so good, still to this day I think Gary Sinise was robbed of an Oscar. Even though Tom is young here believe it or not had actually already won an Oscar previous to this film, he won it for Philadelphia. I just love how innocent Forrest is, he is such a good character and you feel awful for him when Jenny does reciprocate. A lot of people give Jenny a really hard time but she was going through some serious trauma from her father and sadly she didn't feel worthy of Forrest and thought she was sparing him by pushing him away, I really feel for her pain when she attempts suicide, she seems so lost. And sadly because Forrest is so innocent he never really did know how traumatized she was, never quite understood what her father had done to her. Maybe in some way he knew and that's why he's so protective over her but I think he would have regardless. But I love that he's not a violent man at all except when it comes to Jenny, he kind of goes in a trance. I love his relationship with Lieutenant Dan, what's funny is you have to call him that, it's so weird just calling him Dan, lol. When he finally thanks Forrest, of course in his own way is so beautiful and of course at the end, they both are in such a good place now. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Some other Tom Hanks films I suggest to check out are A League Of Their Own, Cast Away, Big, Catch Me If You Can just to name a few.

Forrest is just such a good, pure soul and Tom Hanks played him to perfection! There will be more Tom Hanks coming your way for sure, Travis! And thank you Stormy for requesting this beautiful movie πππ. It doesn't matter how many times I see this movie, it just always gets me
