Seems like a risk perhaps they let him have his way with the men of the village instead and a chance at wooing the daughters of the village? After all pounding mens butts doesn't carry the risk of leaving them pregnant unlike women and the same loss of purity and/or "damaging/streching" the goods. Although some villages might be ok with their daughters obtaining the strong seed of this warrior even out of marriage.
