first week in Vietnam!! Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Ninh Binh

So far northern Vietnam has been nice! Definitely a bit grey and chilly though. I met up with some friends from uni and we’ve been travelling together and it’s been super fun! Visited temples, explored the city, went to a traditional water puppet show, did an overnight boat in ha long bay, and took a bamboo boat in Ninh binh through the river!

Although something very bad happened to me :( I got food poisoning the other day! Luckily I was able to recover pretty fast, but oh myyyy, was it ever tough. This trip has been testing me 😭😭 I’ve never had so many health issues on a trip. On the positive side, I’ll come out of this a lot stronger I think!

So that’s my update for now! Hope you guys are all doing well ♥️
