What I want to say first of all, drawing images in the middle of development - it was a mistake. When I finished the images, I thought that there was only a trivial job, to insert text into the game and make the events. But it turned out that many of the pieces of text unnecessary and detrimental to the narrative, and many of the intermediate moments on the contrary lacked text. I was expecting a couple more weeks and I would release the update, but the trivial job dragged on for a whole month.

As a result, I'm no longer going to work in this format, now I want to try to create one complete event (with text, script, images), and only after that move on to the other.


A lot of people ask me "what to do after losing the v-card", but there's nothing else to do in this episode. From the beginning of production I wanted to create the whole main plot of the episode, excluding the ending (where the heroine finds out if she became a witch or not), I wanted to create four options for losing the v-card, not to separate them into different updates, and leave the side quests for later. Whether or not that was the right decision is up to you to judge, but I'm relatively happy with the result.


I planned the crypt from the very beginning of game development as a reference to the hotel from Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. It didn't turn out as scary as I would have liked, there aren't many scripts, but the lantern light and water turned out well. I'm sorry that I had to limit the path back after finding Claude, and cut out the opportunity to use strikingness to break up the rubble.

Hopefully I'll get that back into the game one day.


Nola seems like a real diamond to me. It really turned out to be light, loose, and fun. And I'm genuinely surprised by it, because I wrote her in a totally bad mood, bad life and world situation.

There are a couple more funny situations planned with Nola, and she will also get her sprite.


I'd also like to bring up the fact that some people think losing their virginity is too quick and not grounded enough. That may be true. The problem lies in the fact that you see the result, and I'm bogged down in work, I have in my head and on paper at once a lot of options for course of events, a lot of situations that are planned, both in future episodes, and in previous ones, a lot of text I have already written and a lot thrown out. I don't see the game the same way you do. Only when I've done all the major and supplementary events and the whole story, will I be able to look at the picture and add where it's missing, improve where it's bad, speed up/slow down where it's needed.


In the near future I will continue to redraw the sprites of Rodinka, improve the available content and add new content, such as side quest investigation and meeting with Farthew, and make a full episode ending. Updates I will try to release a smaller, but more often. And also on my boosty will start releasing bonus content, I'll write about it very soon.


That's about it. Maybe that's not all I wanted to say at the time of the update, but the most important thing I mentioned.
