Events, Exploration, Progress!
Added 2017-10-11 07:00:02 +0000 UTCHey all! I was hoping to have a decent 5.1 candidate out this week but due to some family obligations I wasn't able to spend as much time working on the game as I would have like. That said, a lot of work has been put into it since 5.0.2's release!
Stats-no-more
The first project was the complete removal of player stats, as well as any references to them from the game. I still need to clean up the UI for notebook entries, but aside from that this initiative is complete! Obviously, there are still things to track on the back-end, but these will no longer be needlessly apparent to the player.
Player Transformation
One such stat, or rather, series of stats, is tracking player transformation. The new system will no longer alert you to masculinity/femininity changes, and instead adjust a TF value that will be reflected when you go to sleep at the end of the day. Various events will affect this value, and once it reaches a certain level, a Milestone Transformation will trigger over night. For male characters, this will feminization, and for females, cock growth. Currently, I'm working with a 5 tier system with 10 points needed between tiers. Obviously this will be adjusted as needed once the build is released. This system is fully integrated into the latest alpha, and all that's left is writing events for it.
The Wardrobe

The wardrobe system is integrated almost fully. I need to add an accessory slot and the shopping mall hasn't been started yet, but the means to implement it are there. As it is, you can lose and receive clothing throughout the game, and change it whenever you're in your room. I'm working on expanding the system that will check for the types of outfits you're wearing, and that's just a matter of time. It currently knows if you're dressed enough to go out, wearing underwear, a male wearing female underwear, wearing your sister's panties, etc. Your interactions with people can change based on what you're wearing which can trigger the above TF value changes. Depending on your current TF rank, clothing options will be locked outside of special events. For example, a male at TF rank 0 won't be able to go out and buy panties, but an event at home might see him end up with a chance to hold on to a pair of his sisters, which he can then wear.
Random Event System
The system is in place to trigger random events at home and at work, though only a few home events have been added so far (The above example, for starters). When you enter the hallway at home or the lobby at work, there's a chance for an event to trigger, which will give you a chance to respond to it. Events can be unlocked and added to the pool, or removed if needed, meaning the choices you make during the game can lead to new events occurring!
Exploration and Conversation

The systems for exploring locations and examining objects is in place, and that same system will be used for having conversations with characters. Exploring and conversing each cause time to move forward once, adding to the need to plan your day ahead. To make sure the players don't waste their time, a New! tag will be added to objects and conversation topics that have something the player hasn't seen before. Bringing up certain topics or exploring different objects can add and remove other objects and topics to the game, as well as unlock events and clothing items.
Release
Having the systems in place is great, but now the work lies in adding content and value to them, and that will be a slower process. The the TF and wardrobe systems also come character reactions and scene adjustments depending on your current level of transformation. That said, I want to get something out to showcase the new features in their early state, and that will likely come next week.
The intent is to have a handful of events at home and work, a few clothing options that could illicit a reaction at some point or another, and at least one room to explore and character to try the new conversation system with.
Hopefully it'll be worth the wait. Let me know what you think.

Yep, that's not fully developed yet. Once it's ready there will be an option to go back. The screenshot you see (available for testing for $10 Patrons) was built as a proof of concept as opposed to a ready-to-ship feature. It'll be cleaned up.

2017-10-11 21:18:08 +0000 UTCDuring the explotation of sister's room it would be nice to have "Go back" option, because after I choose "Explore your sister's room" I have only 3 options: check dresser, check bed and check laptop, which means I'm stuck here forever or I have to go backward within the game history.
