I’m thinking maybe since he’s sexing both, and they need their own species to knock them up, that because Jack is going back and forth so much in the future, his sperm mixes with residual alien DNA and allows for the impregnation of both of them. Kind of a half-Jack/half-Rea/Tia sperm situation.
