Weekly Update: 12/21/23

What's Done

- Bodies and Expressions for all characters except Veleno 

-The internal Common Events that run the new assets


What's To Do

-Chip at Veleno

-Replace the script calls for part 1 to accomodate the new assets


What's Coming

-The ability to ask more optional questions to each guest during their interrogation. The end goal is to create more unique interactions that very play throughs

-The ability to use the conversation control device on more people

-Clara, Jamie, and Alex will now offer their own way to get into the manager's office

-More options to achive those tasks, such as more people to give you tape 

-More to the tasks, such as Ryan asking for help before giving you tape

-The ability to collect binding things such as different kinds of tape or straps

-New game setting

Other

-Not much will go on around the holidays as dar as decelopment goes. I hope to have the models swapped out by the end of this year and the first playable build out in late Jan or Mid Feb.

Right now there are no new plans to add more endings. I'd instead like to beef up the current ones and make the journies to them more distinct. It doesn't mean there won't be more, its just not a high priority.

Happy New Years, Angler (and a late Merry Christmas)! Keep meaning to come around and leave a comment or two on your updates, but I always found myself busy... and the delay from that meant you added more stuff to comment on. So forth and so forth. Probably said this before, but I'll say it again: I am interested in what "The Great Hotel Caper 2.0" will look like. One such peak in that curiosity being that I don't believe we had that many Maddie assets before. In turn, this does connect with your statement of new scenarios and situations. (Waiting to see what the new framework is before offering any suggestions because story pacing and what not. Feasibility. Et cetera.) Have a good one!

All of this sounds real promising, and I like the potential for a greater mix of character involvement and more antics as you play! May I ask if you're thinking of creating any more endings along with the new content or is that perhaps a future endeavor?
