Next Playable Build
Added 2024-03-24 08:56:19 +0000 UTCI'm creeping up on the halfway point of part 3, the Dani event. Part 2 is done, aside from final stress testing, and the first half of part 3 is in a similar place. The Dani event is the new branch point for the 3 main endings and diverges a lot more based on the choices you've made. It is on track to be wrapped up within two or so weeks.
Do People want me to release a playable build once the Dani Event is done or wait until the end of part 3?
What's in the New Build if it Releases At the Dani Event
-Getting into the breakroom, getting Ryan to leave, and getting into the manager's office/basement now have more options. (Clara, Jamie, or Alex)
-Rachel's Ryan event is tweaked for the new format and puts you on the Clara route
-Additional chef and bartender material. Flavor from chef, some function for bartender.
-Additional breakroom stuff, including the manager's arrival.
-The Storeroom
-New Game Overs
-More divergence based on choice
-You can get tied up in the closet by Dani with Clara, Jamie, or Alex
-Picking the same person (Clara, Jamie, Alex) each time creates a more complete story that hints at their ending (Abby did it, Ryan/Liana did it, Veleno did it)
-An NPC in part 2 that can let you fiddle with variables and not have to redo part 1.
What's Not in the New Build
-Camera/Ghost stuff. It is being saved until the main 3 routes are finished through part 4
-Maddie/Mara for opening the manager's door. As you'll see, having them be an option doesn't work anymore but may return in a future build.
-Functional quests. They won't be fully set up until late into production. Most should still work but not all of them. They're just for tracking purposes and don't affect gameplay.

Truthfully, Angler, so long as you routinely share/show off some of the game assets, waiting isn't a problem for me. Given that the game is a side endeavor for you, taking your time is reasonable~
