Sometimes you have to wait for the forces of the universe to align. Based in Salinas with a nearly permanent marine layer of cloud cover most months, it took a few tries to fulfill Jenn’s desires. But we finally got the bright early-morning sunshine in the right season of the year to give us the angles and the contrast we needed.

Hhere is one of the two sets we produced together (not counting the happy accident you may have seen earlier) in which the bright sunlight streams through the slats of my window shades and alternately illuminates and shadows Jenn’s silky smooth surfaces.

65 images in all, with full-length figure studies down to carefully-cropped close-ups (and some uncomfortably close camera-work, too—Good thing Jenn is a trusted and trusting friend).
