We start with Sunny Of Rebecca-Brook Farm (SORBF) caged in a suspended cylinder of chains. She starts off wearing the farmgirl sundress and straw-hat so appropriately advertising her feigned innocence. But as our story is told she willingly agrees to pay the price of escape, dropping her dress to earn her release, as well as pledging some other activities (seen in some earlier sets) that we decide merits a special bonus: the caging of our other beauty, Pluto.
Pluto isn’t made to disrobe. (Although she teases herself out of some of her wardrobe to keep our attention while we wait for SORBF to position herself where Pluto can pay her own price of submission.) Instead, as part of SORBF’s reward, she and Pluto get to play together through the chains.
These were the precursors to the much more explicit sets posted months ago. But while we found each subject’s efforts to secure their escape to be very different in method, the audience gathered for the occasion found those efforts to be equally evocative in their effects on us.
