How Many Waifus will be included in the game?

The way I hope to build the game is to in theory allow for a potentially limitless amount of waifus.
What I mean by this is whilst upon release there will be a number of waifus (i'm not sure on the initial roster yet - I will definitely need your help deciding that!) but I want to make it so I can add new characters as updates etc. There are so many great characters, and whilst some will be more heavily story integrated I want to try and include as many fan favourites as possible.
Wishful thinking I know :)
