What if I offered commissions?
Added 2023-02-24 05:29:52 +0000 UTCHello you lovely deviants,
One question I get alot is "do you offer commissions?" Unfortunately the answer is no mainly due to time constraints around delivering patreon content/working on the game.
However, if I did look to offer commissions, it would likely only be 1 to 2 MAX a month. And rules would be no underage, loli characters, or real people.
But the one question I have is, what would be a reasonable price, or a price that to you would seen? - this would be for the character, inc nude & clothed versions - with the basic idle animation I typically do.
*Please note there would be many variables that could effect the price. but assuming it is similar to my standard character postings, see the below:
And please be honest, end of the day, I don't do commissions so this is all hypothetical

2023-02-24 21:44:52 +0000 UTCI think that doing commissions would be a great side hustle for the game. Good source of more money, and use them in the main game. So it does not slow down production. I would personally pay anywhere from $50-$100 per person, depends on what price we agree to and how badly I said, a character if it was in the game. And up to triple for a set of people. All hypothetical ... and if you are asking I already got a few characters in mind.

2023-02-24 06:02:44 +0000 UTCI think it would be a great way to raise more money for the project, also I think if you did commissions, you should add those characters you commissioned in the game. That way it's not just a stop in game development because you are using characters you've animated, it would also serve as a way to honor those that paid the extra money if you put their character(s) in the game!

2023-02-24 05:35:56 +0000 UTCHonestly, I would think your best option would be to set price per character and number of poses. Add a bit for animations, and add more for any extras they would want. Base of 50 would probably be the best starter. Add 10-15 per extra character, 5-10 for poses, 15-20 for animation, and whatever feels good for any other extras. My personal opinion.

2023-02-24 05:35:14 +0000 UTCThe animations aren't too complex, but given that you have to work with what the commissioner provides you and make it work in your style, I think 70 or 100 is a fair price, maybe 70 for standard animation and 100 for something a bit more complex or involving 2 characters?
