Gift of Hedone - Update - where are you up to?

I thought it may be a great opportunity to do an update. And maybe ask the question -where are you up to?
So, the reality of this project it will take longer than you think - I am one person working on this. (So please know if you want to drop your tier on Patron I completely understand) But I have spent a lot of time investigating and researching what developers wish they spent more time on, and how some of my favourite games approached their development. One in particular I will mention is Witcher 3
Witcher 3 is my favourite game, and I was super fascinated by the fact that they said they created all the characters, side missions etc - then built the world around it. So that is what I want to do. I want to ensure the story, and characters are all complete and then build the world. That is why gameplay examples will take longer.
I wanted to share this for transparency, and hope you understand.
