Patch 0.3.01 and Major News !

Hello guys, it's the end of the month again, and we have some big news to share!

It has been a long, hard and exciting month for us and we have been hard at on the game. This month Transylvania reached a major milestone - $700 a month - and we couldn't be happier and more grateful to all of you for making this possible.

When I first started this project, I was writing and coding alone, and paying out of pocket for the bare minim of art. However I wanted the project to be more than that and so did you. Today, that vision is a step closer to becoming a reality - by maintaining this pace, we will be able to consistently bring not just new character art and scenes, but also new background and environmental art to really flesh out the game and make it feel like a living world. I have also stepped up my game in terms of coding, bringing some engine and UI improvements to bring a fresh coat of paint to the experience.

What you can expect going forward:

-more character art and scenes

-new background art and more environments

-more "game-y" features (achievements, settings, better menus, more icons and UI, etc)

We are also very happy to let you know that these features are available RIGHT NOW! As part of the push this month, the game engine has received an upgrade, adding in-game notifications for your journal tasks, traits and character info. Backgrounds have been added to many passages and the sidebar has received some better visuals and been improved to work without needing to go back.

Due to these core changes, we decided that it was appropriate to move the game version up from 0.2x to 0.3x - it truly is the beginning of a new chapter!

And of course the new patch also brings some new content in terms of story and scenes ;) Find full changes below:

-added a few improvements to the "Thoughts" module when waking up after a reset;
-added a new option for Sabrina's training: love for the grotesque;
-added some improvements to Sabrina's hub;
-added a minor event during work that allows to return Ionut's keys if the player still has them;

-added a notification function for game events;

-added a settings option to toggle notifications on and off;
-general engine improvements in tracking traits and stats;

-improved image compression for faster load times;
-fixed an issue on mobile where some links could not be clicked because they had a mouseover effect;
-added new border to the sidebar;
-improved sidebar navigations so all menus remain accessible at all times (instead of having to close one and then open another);
