Patch 0.4.05: Unholy encounters

Hey guys,

I am happy to return to a monthly patch schedule. This patch brings a lot of new art, some new scenes, and groundwork for Chapter 3.

Save Data

Before diving into the meat of the matter, I want the address the ongoing save data corruption. This has become a serious issue with many reports over the last two patches. As I've mentioned on a few occasions, this is a deep-rooted problem that originates in the engine itself (Harlowe) and not in Transylvania specifically. During this last month, I've been talking to other devs, gathering save data, and poking people up the chain, all the way to the Harlowe dev. I am (cautiously) happy to report that progress has been made and the Harlowe dev has released a new engine version which - we believe - resolves this problem. It has been quite the hassle, and I'm crossing my fingers for this to be finally put to rest. I want to thank everyone who helped by sharing their saves, as well as all the other devs that got involved to untangle the root causes. Of course, I will be keeping a close eye for any new reports that might pop up.

Better Art!

This patch features new scenes that once again take full advantage of the new tech that was developed in previous updates. You will see some fairly complex animations for Gwyllgi, new animations and art for Ionut, as well as the scenes reflecting your clothing and accessories. This is very art intensive, with over 50 "pieces" of art in this patch alone, to compose the 3 new scenes. This would never be possible to afford without the level of support that we've reached, so thank you again, and hope you like the new stuff!

Body Mods

This is something that was started and will continue to expand, but you can now find your piercings in the "Body" section once acquired and swap them at any time. Some scenes have been updated to reflect them, and more will follow.

On a final note before the patch notes, if you are using the key system (which I especially recommend for this patch), the new key is: "I am desecrated and unholy"

General
-updated engine version to Harlowe 3.3.5; This is a hotfix from the engine dev to address save data corruption (in a direct response to our reports - so thank for everyone who shared their save files! Keeping an eye for any issues that might pop up.)
Ionut
-Fully revamped scene: Washing the dishes: has completely new art and takes into account player's clothing;
-New scene: Touching Scars: now has art and takes into account player's clothing;
-Fully revamped scene: Over the Sink: added new art; added animations; takes into account clothing;
-updated the second variation for Over the Sink with the new art and animations;
Gwyllgi
-a new scene has been added that can be achieved after the first meeting at the cemetery;
-new art and animations have been added;
-multiple endings and achievement for completing the Gwyllgi line;
Lavius
-new scene and dialogue added in Chapter 3;
-new art added for the scene, with art and story variations for piercings;
Body Mods
-acquired piercings now show in the "Body" section and can be swapped at will;
-the body preview will now show the piercings you're wearing;
-the following scenes will now show which piercings you're wearing: Sabrina Wings Ritual, Lavius Jail;
-jumpstarting to chapter 2 or 3 will now grant you body mods;
Art
-added 2 backgrounds for the trial gathering;
Fixes
-fixed a bug where going to the tower of the Elder after making a True Wish would not trigger the correct branch;
-updated the simulate to ch2 screen to make sure the Elise/Felicia options cannot be set to an impossible combination;
-finishing the Pact will now correctly leave you wearing the voodoo heads piercing;
