Here's the layouts for page 7! You can see these all start out VERY rough. I'm usually putting in dialogue at this stage to make certain the panels make sense. I refine much of the page in the pencils stage, starting with defined panel borders.

I don't know how much of this you guys care about, but I have a panel bleed off the edge of the page to create a sense of a wider area. Panel 3, Claire is looking for the front door, so I wanted to get a wider feel to the panel, hence a wide panel that bleeds off the page. Then it goes back to the action. This also separates preparation from action. I often use this method for realizations or just any sort of pause. It also helps with storytelling by creating a clean break between more complex panel separations. I always want clarity in my panel organization.
