Claire pencils vs inks

I work in a rather haphazard manner - I don't even have the inks complete, but some panels already have flats and shading done (not shown here). In any case, you can see the lines get tighter and tighter. I try hard not to lose the energy of my layout roughs - that's always a challenge. At this stage the page becomes actual WORK. It's usually the most anxiety I feel during any piece because every line matters.

Thanks! It feels weird showing you folks a page before it's complete - like I'm telling secrets I should keep to myself - but I'm trying to share more of my sketches and process because I think folks like seeing this stuff. My goal is to post more often, beyond the completed pages and pinups.
