The Agartha Loop - Loop Two is... Done!

In the Agarthan Loop, where time rewound,
A magical girl with faith unwound,
Bound by love and endless strife,
She battles fate to bring back life.

Twice she fails, but love prevails,
Her soul entwined with the one she hails,
Their journey weaves through time and space,
The Agarthan Loop, their hearts embrace.

Now... my goal should be to finish sharpening up vols 1-2, and then seeing if any publishing company out there would be willing to take a risk on it! I think it would be cool to try our a different publisher with this project than my usual since it's a low-risk one.

Anyway, next is Dead Tired Vol 2, which was near completion anyway, and the fact that I never stopped it at the actual end of it is bothering me!

Yes. If you go to Kindle Select (which auto-locks you onto KU) you get more promotion tools and a more favourable spot in the algorithm.

RavensDagger

Do they promote you more if you go the KU route? I've noticed some web novels get published on amazon for a few dollars but they are all but invisible unless you search for them exactly.

I read to the end of loop 2 and now I really, really want to know what happens next. You manage to get so much oomph into your writing. Most of my writing seems to feel like one of those old RPGs where you have to spend way too much time level grinding to get past level 1, whereas with yours I feel like it’s a game so good you preorder the sequel before it even has a release date.

Ok. So you're saying they don't REQUIRE exclusivity, only that they promote you better if you do go for it. Good to know. I'd only ever heard about them having the exclusivity thing going and had never looked into it further beyond that.

Jemini

I do publish on Amazon, but I'm at a huge disadvantage on there since I don't give them exclusive rights. I gets worse viewership on their algorithms, worse rates, and overall get shoot in the foot for not subscribing to their exclusivity system. But my books are still on there. It's the best marketplace for paperbacks and they do hold a massive monopoly on the distribution of ebooks as well.

RavensDagger

How DO you go about publishing? I'm pretty sure it's not via Amazon, since they have that whole exclusive contract deal and you still have the early chapters of all your series up, but that happens to be exactly the thing that's getting me curious about how you publish. I might want to look into it for my own stories once I get them polished up a little more.

Jemini

Well, with its completion. Means its a good time to read it!

If you do happen to read to the end of Loop 2, tell me what you think! I'm very happy with the end, but... well, I hope others are happy with it too!
